Homeschool Botany Class: Bugs, Bodies & Brilliant Designs! 10:30am & 2:30pm

Bugs, Bodies & Brilliant Designs!

An Interactive Insect Exploration for Homeschool Students
Crawl, fly, and zoom into the fascinating world of insects! In this hands-on homeschool class, students will become junior entomologists as we explore a variety of real insects preserved in resin and observe them up close using magnifying glasses. Together, we’ll discover what makes each bug unique—examining body parts, patterns, textures, and special adaptations.
After our investigation, students will tap into their creativity to design and create a brand-new bug of their very own, combining real insect characteristics with imaginative flair.
To extend learning beyond the classroom, students will receive multidisciplinary take-home activities connecting science with art, language arts, and critical thinking.
