CALLING ALL YOUNG ARTISTS-Youth Art Gallery
As our Community Art Festival continues to grow, we’re excited to share a new vision for this year’s event.
We love showcasing the incredible talents of local artists, and this year, we’re creating a special opportunity for young artists to bring our community together through original art. For 2026, our focus will shift toward building a vibrant Community Art Gallery featuring the artwork of children and teenagers, celebrating the creativity and imagination of the next generation.
Share What You Love about Colorado
What makes Colorado special to you?
Is it the towering mountains, colorful wildflowers, snowy adventures, amazing wildlife, or your favorite parks? This year, Tagawa Gardens invites children and teens to share what they love about Colorado through original artwork. Based on the theme “Colors of Colorado,” we’re calling young artists of all skill levels to celebrate the places, people, plants, and animals that make Colorado an incredible place to live.
Every submitted piece will be displayed in our Community Art Gallery from September 19th-September 27th.
Artwork must be submitted in person Between September 1st and September 10th.
ย Every Artist Has a Chance to Win!
As a thank-you for participating, each artist who submits a piece will be entered into prize drawings held throughout the weekend. We’ll be giving away a variety of fun prizes, including local art classes and gift cards.

Submission Guide
- Artwork must be submitted in person Between September 1st and September 10th.
- Artwork must be original and created by the participating artistย (NO AI generated images please).
- Maximum size: 24″ ร 36″ unless approved in advance.
- Please label the back of each piece with the artist’s name, age, artwork title, and parent or guardian contact information.
- Artwork should be appropriate for public display. See our community guidelines below for more details.
- Artwork should be ready to hang/display.
- One entry per artist please.
We look forward to filling Tagawa Gardens with artwork that celebrates the many reasons we love Colorado and showcases the creativity of young artists throughout our community.
Appropriate Content:ย Artwork must be suitable for a family-friendly audience. Please do not submit artwork containing profanity, hate speech, discriminatory messages, graphic violence, nudity, sexually explicit content, or depictions that promote illegal or dangerous activities. Artwork intended to promote, proselytize, or disparage any religion, political viewpoint, or ideology is not permitted. The exhibition organizers reserve the right to decline artwork that does not meet these guidelines.
