Community Art Festival

Saturday, September 23 | 11:00am-3:00pm

Nature offers us abundant inspiration, and nothing illustrates that like the imagination of artists. As a family-owned business, we know supporting and growing locally is the best way to build community. This brand-new event is away to celebrate the intersection of art and nature! We have all the makings of a great afternoon with a community art show, live theatre performance, workshops, demos, face painting, live music, and delicious gelato! After all, you can’t spell Nature without A-R-T!

How does nature inspire you? Celebrating the fusion of art and garden, Tagawa Gardens is hosting an autumn art show featuring YOUR artistry! Whether you sculpt, paint, sketch, or scribble, we want to share and display the inspiring talent of our local community. We’ll accept watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, sculpture, and mixed media works. From beginning to advanced, all skill levels and ages are welcome!

Accepting submissions through September 16. Gallery runs September 23 through October 15.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is sending its beloved Shakespeare in the Parking Lot troupe to perform a fast and furious 45-minute production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 2:00 pm!  Bring the family and get ready to laugh at this clever and rambunctious rendition of Shakespeare’s classic, uniquely performed on a pickup truck set.

Enjoy The Bard in our backyard! Join us on Saturday, September 23 at 2:00pm for this unique take on Shakespeare’s timeless classic with a twist.

Runtime: 45 minutes | Limited seating! Please bring your own chair.

Watch a free paper-making demo using recycled junk mail. Learn the creative process of a local botanical artist. Support the creative work of guest artists by purchasing a one-of-a-kind piece! We’ll also be featuring workshops by new friends from two local art studios! Register to make a garden-inspired glass pendant. Information below.
