Our Most Popular Featured Annual Events:

Bird & Nature Festival at Tagawa Gardens

Bird and Nature Festival

This fun, family event is traditionally held the third weekend in February and features classes, fun activities and a special birds of prey presentation by HawkQuest!

Night of Wine & Roses at Centennial's Tagawa Gardens

Night of Wine & Roses

Note for 2020--due to COVID19 concerns, our Night of Wine & Roses event is postponed for 2020. Please check back for details.

Traditionally held  the third Friday night in April, this special event is our kick off to spring, since it is the first time that our own-grown rose bushes are available for purchase! We are grateful to our friends at Balistreri Vineyards, whom offer tasting of their award winning wines (and purchase of their wines this evening only) and the Tagawa family provides complimentary gourmet cheeses, crackers and fruit as a thank you to our community!

Mother's Day Spring Open House at Parker's Tagawa Gardens

Mother's Day Spring Open House

Note for 2020--due to COVID19 concerns, our traditional Mother's Day Open House has been postponed. Please check back for details.

Held Mother's Day weekend each year, this event  features complimentary hot dogs, popcorn and refreshments prepared by the Tagawa Family! Free concerts are also provided, featuring different music so there is something for everyone to enjoy! Our celebration would not be complete without a performance by Denver Taiko (Japanese Drums) which included several Tagawa family members performing in this amazing group, which won a Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts!

Tagawa Gardens Grey Kitty Birthday & Pet Adoption Event

Grey Kitty® Birthday & Pet RescueEvent

Our Tagawa® Grey Kitty® mascot tradition started in 1986 when we adopted a stray grey cat with a lot of personality! We have had a Grey Kitty® mascot ever since!  All of our mascots have been strays or adopted through local shelters. As our way to give back to those groups and to help other animals find forever homes, we have offered non-profit animal rescue groups a chance to come to our greenhouse and share their information and adoptable pets with our guests! This event is called Grey Kitty® Birthday & Pet Rescue Event and is traditionally held the second weekend of July each year. Traditionally this event is held on the second Saturday in September.
