Healthy soils lead to healthy food and healthy people. There are many ways to practice composting, whether by processing end-of-season plant materials in your backyard, vermicomposting with worms, or utilizing a green cart pick-up service. All these methods contribute to ways we can learn to step lightly on the earth. In this workshop, Denver Urban Gardens’ Community Composters will guide you through the fun & easy process of composting!

Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) is the largest independent network of food-producing gardens in the country. We’re on a mission to increase the access, skills, and resources needed to grow food in communities and regenerate urban green spaces.
