**THIS CLASS IS FULL** Qigong Class – with Dr. Juli Kramer

Start your new year with a new practice that improves strength, balance, range of motion, mindful awareness, and mind-body connection.

Qi is the Chinese word for “life energy.” According to Chinese medicine, it is the animating power that flows through all living things. Gong means “work” or “benefits acquired through perseverance and practice.” Thus qigong means working with your life energy and learning how to guide the flow of qi to improve health and harmony of mind and body.

Qigong is a holistic system of self-healing exercises and meditation that includes healing postures, movements, massage, breathing, and meditation techniques. Through these various methods, qi is accumulated and stored in the body, like filling a reservoir. Impure or polluted qi, the source of disease, can also be cleansed and refined into pure, healing qi.

Anyone can practice qigong. All of the classes have modifications suitable for every age and physical condition.

Dr. Juli Kramer has practiced qigong for 15 years, including 2 years while living in Shanghai, and is a certified qigong teacher. She holds a diploma in Chinese Medicine Nutritional Therapy and multiple certificates in Chinese medicine. She also does Chinese medicine face reading to help people jumpstart their personal growth. Juli has a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Counseling Psychology.
