There are differences between using native grasses as turf to replace high-water turf and native grass areas that can fill a landscape’s middle space with groupings of grasses. This class will cover how to choose the right grass or blend and how to install and maintain it.
Carole Kastler of Camelot Design has had a design and consulting business in residential and HOA work for over 37 years. During that time, she also served on the ALCC board of directors and was president of the association. She has been teaching at Tagawa Garden Center for over two decades and counts herself lucky to be able to share her passion and knowledge with others with the opportunities that Tagawa Garden Center has provided. Most of her design work focuses on sustainable and resilient landscape designs that provide beauty and resources for both people and wildlife. Regionally appropriate design and consulting, including construction and maintenance knowledge, lend themselves to landscapes that can be enjoyed for years to come.
