We’re excited to introduce our new Little Buds program for early childhood literacy. Bring your enthusiasm and curiosity and enjoy a fun twist on storytime. Using garden-themed children’s books, families can join us for storytime with an up-and-active portion to help youngsters connect to plants, animals, and our neighborhoods through imaginative play. We will meet in Aisle 15 in the classroom.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No pre-registration is required at this time. Intended for ages 3-5.
Tom is our new community programs coordinator for Tagawa Gardens. Before joining us at the garden center, Tom spent most of his career as an actor, director, and teaching artist. He’s traveled and performed across the country since 2008 and relocated from NYC in 2018 to his home state of Colorado. He spent three years working at the Denver Center for The Performing arts in Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, Book Stars, and teaching for their summer performance camps. He feels so grateful to be able to finally merge his two biggest loves, the arts, and gardening.
