How does a tiny seed turn into a plant? In this hands-on homeschool lesson, students will explore the life cycle of seeds through observation, discovery, and creativity! We’ll dissect a real seed to identify its parts, discuss each stage of growth, and complete a short writing activity to reflect on what we’ve learned.
Students will then plant their own microgreens in a pot to take home and receive a mini plant journal to continue observing and recording their plant’s growth. Families will also receive multidisciplinary extensions to keep the learning going at home.
Thursday, February 12th from (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM) & (2:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
For homeschoolers ages 5–12
