Homeschool Botany Class: Parts of a Plant

Calling all curious homeschoolers! Join us for an exciting, hands-on science class all about the Parts of a Plant. In this interactive session, students will:
Dissect a real flower to explore its anatomy
Learn about the seeds, leaves, and flowers we eat
Use creativity to build their own plant model
This botany-based class introduces key biology concepts through exploration and play. Multidisciplinary extension activities are available for continued learning at home, covering elements of language arts, math, social studies, and art.
Aligned with Colorado Academic Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Classes are held monthly—this session will meet Thursday, August 14 at 10:30 AM.
