Community Art Festival & Art Gallery: “Call of the Wild”
Saturday, September 21, 2024 | 10:00am – 4:00pm
We are so excited to be hosting our second annual Art Festival here at the garden center. Along with unveiling a new outdoor mural, we will celebrate the talents of our guests with our Community Art Gallery. Last year, we accepted over 100 original pieces, and we hope to top that number this year! With multiple local art vendors, live music, food, and take-home crafts for the day, you are sure to find something to enjoy!
CLICK HERE for the Art Submission Form! Please submit your completed form with your artwork to our Guest Services desk. This year, artists are also responsible for providing means to display or hang their artwork (i.e. easel, hooks, wire, etc.) After gallery exhibit, artists must pick up their work by end of day, Saturday, October 12.

Our theme, “Call of the Wild,” invites you to explore the ways the untamed natural world inspires you! Enter your watercolor, sculpture, and mixed media works. From beginner to advanced, all skill levels and ages are welcome! Please limit three entries per artist.

03 | Local Artists
Support local artists and vendors in the Denver Metro Area, learn about their creative process, and go home with something truly unique.
Special Guest Artist: Jacintha Kruc! Jacintha is a nationally renowned artist, conservator, historical preservationist, and muralist, and is here at Tagawa Gardens to complete the mural that she began last year on Tagawa Gardens’ huge water tank/watering can! Come visit Jacintha during the Art Festival and see her beautiful artistry and her completed mural!

If you’re feeling creative, we will have a fun make-n’-take project available for the day!
