Plant of the MonthNorfolk Island Pine

Native to the South Pacific, the Norfolk Island Pine is a stunning evergreen grown indoors in Colorado. When given proper care, these plants can reach impressive heights!

Provide bright light, and water when the top 1/3rd of the soil has dried down. Avoid excessive heat or cold drafts, and provide some humidty.

Note that this plant has some toxicity to pets.

Touch of the Tropics

No matter the size of your space, there’s a houseplant for it! Year-round, we stock floor plants, vining plants, and hanging plants. Explore tropicals, succulents, cacti, air plants, bromeliads, orchids, and African violets. We carry a selection of bonsai, rare plants, and carnivorous plants, too. Indoor fruiting plants such as citrus and fig are popular favorites with limited availability.

Succulents & Cacti

Cacti and succulents thrive in sunny locations and require at least two to three hours of direct sunlight daily. With so many varieties from which to choose, these make terrific collector plants! Succulents can also be happily grouped in small container plantings, perfect for a sunny side table or summer patio.

When it comes to watering, the basic rule for these arid plants is to wait until soil is completely dry and to then water thoroughly. Cacti and succulents are especially sensitive to overwatering.

Miniature Plants

It’s all about the little things. From itsy bitsy trees to cute little tropicals, we feature an amazing variety of tiny plants, ideally suited to miniature gardens, terrariums, and small container plantings. These little plants are available year-round, helping you DIY to your heart’s content. Check out our spring and summer selection in the Houseplants Department on Aisle 3. You’ll find even more in the Annuals Department.

While exploring the little plants, you can also find colorful small pots, tiny colored stones for topdressing, and seasonal accents to complete your project.
