In this monthโs Homeschool Botany, young scientists will discover the amazing ways seeds disperseโor spreadโfrom place to place. Weโll explore how seeds can fly through the air, float on water, hitch a ride on animals, and even launch themselves!
Students will become scientists as they conduct hands-on seed dispersal experiments, make observations, and learn how to record and compare their results on a data table.
Then, weโll put our knowledge into action by creating seed โbombsโ to take home and use to help beautify an appropriate outdoor space.
Itโs a hands-on lesson filled with science, experimentation, data collection, creativity, and a little bit of dirt!
