DESCRIPTION: Holiday Roots: Winter Traditions Around the World\nWhat makes something a “holiday”? In this festive homeschool lesson\, students will explore the plants\, customs\, and cultural traditions that shape winter celebrations around the world. We’ll learn how different cultures use evergreens\, spices\, flowers\, and other botanicals during the season—and what these traditions mean. \nStudents will then create their own holiday\, complete with symbols and stories\, and make a handmade gift to give away.
