Unusual
Recycled Container Contest!
(as seen in The Denver Post Classifieds)
1. Find an unusual, used container at a garage sale—ex. A sink, a doll’s bathtub, an old cookie jar, etc (Please note, that a hole might have to be made in the bottom of the container so please consider carefully submitting photos of antique or irreplaceable items). Maximum area that will be planted: 24” x 24.”
2.Take a photo of the container and submit it via e-mail it to TagawaQandA@tagawagardens.com.
It’s that easy!!
Each week throughout July 2010, a winning container will be chosen.
The winner will be contacted via e-mail and invited to bring the container to Guest Service at
Tagawa Gardens, 7711 S. Parker Rd., Centennial, CO 80016, for it to be planted with flowers.
The container will be planted by Tagawa Gardens designers based on the conditions where the container will be throughout the summer. Once again, please note that if the container does not have drainage holes, holes may have to be made.
The winner will be notified when the container garden is planted and ready to go home (approx. five (5) days.
A photo of your unusual, recycled container garden may be featured in The Denver Post Classifieds section!
